"What is medical aesthetics?"

Neuromodulators (Xeomin, Dysport, Daxxify & Botox Cosmetic), aka "tox," temporarily relax facial muscles responsible for expressions which lead to lines and wrinkles. Each face is unique, and none are 100% symmetric, so great care is taken to treat conservatively, avoiding “frozen” results. What skin conditions does the Pixel8-RFMN Treat?

Is there downtime?
After PiXel8-RF treatment, most patients experience redness and minor swelling. While these symptoms typically subside within 24-48 hours or less, deeper, more aggressive treatments may increase recovery time. As individual results vary, so do treatment regimens which affect recovery. Discussing individualized post-procedure goals and proposed treatment plan with your provider will offer more accurate timelines.
Is RF-microneedling painful?
Pre-procedure preparation includes topical anesthetic numbing of areas to be treated. While each individual's perception of discomfort varies, anatomical location treated and depth of microneedling deemed necessary for optimal results are factors to consider.
Can the Pixel8-RF really be used on all skin types?
Yes! Unlike laser treatments, the PiXel8-RF uses only radiofrequency energy. The precise delivery of energy into the dermis, with very little to no thermal damage to the epidermis, virtually eliminates the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in darker skin types.
How long does treatment take?
Appointments are scheduled for 60-90 minutes, depending on size of treatment area, to allow for skin preparation prior to treatment. Results are usually visible after one or two treatments, however, for optimal results, a 3 to 4 treatment series is suggested, with each session 6-8 weeks apart. Stimulating collagen and elastin is a process!

Combination therapy with accelerated results
Clinical data suggests that melasma and pigmentation are best treated with combination therapy. While strong SPF goes a long way in prevention of further discoloration, the VI Peel Precision Plus pairs well with microneedling and CO2 laser resurfacing (*requires consultation to book) to rejuvenate sun damaged skin.
A series of four visits, consisting of 2 microneedling sessions and 2 VI Peels, requires a client commitment of 12 weeks: 1 treatment every 4 weeks x 4.

PRP / PRF Hair Restoration
Hair loss and thinning occurs for many reasons, including hormonal and chemical imbalances (stress, menopause, medications), injury and scarring. Unless follicle death has occurred, with zero hair growth evident, stimulating blood flow and collagen production may promote new hair growth. The process of injecting high quality platelet rich plasma (PRP) and / or platelet rich fibrin (PRF) for hair restoration has been clinically proven, with new hair growth typically evident in 2-3 sessions, and visible growth in 6-8 sessions.
How does PRP affect hair growth?
Platelet rich plasma and fibrin are part of the body's circulatory or blood system. When separated from red blood cells (RBCs), PRP / PRF contains healing human growth factors, stimulates fibroblasts, increases type I collagen formation, increases blood flow to treated areas, and when injected deeper, stimulates new blood vessel growth, collagen and elastin. It's THAT good!
PRP / PRF treatment is not an instant gratification procedure. Just as aging and hair loss does not happen overnight, neither does reversal of that damage. Regrowth of cells take time, with compounded results, over time. * Average human cell turnover takes 28 days.
What does treatment consist of?
A sample of blood will be collected on site by licensed healthcare providers (the only people you should EVER trust with your blood!) and centrifuged to separate the red blood cells from plasma. Microneedling, if indicated will be performed, followed by tiny injections of sterile PRP / PRF and AnteAGE Hair Growth Factor Solution.
The scalp is very vascular and mild bleeding is anticipated during treatment. It is recommended that you wear a collarless shirt and plan to shower soon afterwards. * Water wash only. No shampoo or styling product for 24 hours post-PRP injection of scalp.
Recommended treatment regimen is dependent on baseline assessment, individual results and patient goals. A series of treatments, scheduled 4-6 weeks apart, is necessary for follicle stimulation. Total number of sessions recommended is determined by individual results.

Sterile, disposable microneedling tips are a single use product. The process of obtaining and processing PRP / PRF is a medical procedure, always and only performed by Divinity Aesthetics’ licensed healthcare professionals, following strict aseptic technique protocol.
